this is a combination of several different icon concrit memes from LJ, but is most heavily based on thrift's!

Your icons are some of my favorites as a whole, but the one thing I've noticed is that with the... lmao I'm not sure what to call it, but with the coloring where you add the highlighting dot! That spot can sometimes really wash out that area and make some detail hard to see. This is especially the case with thin lines, like in Nunally's icon, and makes it hard to see her eyes/nose/mouth. That coloring detail is kind of a ymmv style, but I'd suggest maybe lowering the opacity in some cases, since that will preserve the pop, but make the facial detail not disappear.

Like for another example, I think it works really well with these icons:

But for these, it muddies the image:


But that said, I think you do a fantastic job with coloring as a whole! Icons like this one are super beautiful.

Wow, I feel like a jerk because it took me forever to realize I fat fingered this reply somewhere else DOH. Sorry about that!

You've figured me out though. I tend to repeat my PSDs a lot and it shows in some icons like the bottom ones. I think I'll work on fiddling with the opacity (or just outright removing it when it leaves them washed out). I work with a huge monitor, so smaller details gone missing are harder for me to notice.
